Otium Private House is a private-room stay in the centre of Brussels, at Rue des Harengs / Haringstraat 6-8, 1000 Brussels. It is operated by JAQMAIN BVBA, with registered office at Boulevard Émile Jacqmain 99, 1000 Brussels, VAT BE 0872 203 314.

What data we collect

When you contact us by email, we collect the name, email address and message you provide. We use this information only to read and answer your request.

We do not ask for sensitive data, and we do not build visitor profiles. Standard technical data, such as your IP address, may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the website.

Why we process it (legal basis)

We process the data you send us on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. If you ask to receive updates, we process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who processes your data

We rely on a small number of providers acting on our behalf: Resend for sending and delivering email, and Cloudflare for hosting and security. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics processes anonymous usage statistics.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Union. Where that is the case, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages only for as long as needed to handle your request and, where relevant, our follow-up. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
